Amna and Shamil chose Mexico as the destination for their unforgettable wedding celebration, bringing together over 600 of their loved ones for an epic fiesta.
Their three-day celebration was filled with incredible moments, starting with our first portrait session where we had the chance to meet in person, followed by their Welcome Party, Baraat, and Walima.
Welcome Party
Amna and Shamil warmly welcomed their guests to a vibrant three-day wedding celebration at Fairmont Mayakoba, featuring a local mariachi band, fire performers, and a live DJ for an unforgettable beach party.

Baraat day
A baraat is a traditional Indian wedding procession where the groom and his family travel to the wedding venue, typically on horseback or in a decorated vehicle. It's a lively event filled with music, dancing, and celebration, marking the groom's arrival and the official start of the wedding festivities.

Walima
A two part official celebration of an Islamic wedding- the nikah (marriage ceremony) followed by wedding reception banquet. The word "walima" literally means "to assemble," reflecting the gathering of family and friends to celebrate the marriage.
